WHY LEARN TO HANDSTAND?
Did you ever play around in the garden or at parks with handstands and cartwheels as a kid? Most of us stop as we get older and wish that we could still do it. This is more than enough reasons to want to 'learn to handstand'.
Handstands and hand balances are such a fun way to strengthen your body and build confidence! During the class we will work on the fundamentals of hand balancing, particularly body conditioning, handstand preps, body position and alignment. You do not need to be able to handstand already in order to enjoy and get lots out of this class! Total upside-down beginners welcome, as well as anyone looking at improving their handstand technique and learn some new tricks. It won’t all be handstands, you will explore headstands, hand balances, forearm stands.
We currently offer one Handstand class on a weekly basis. Jazz who is our Handstand instructor has years of knowledge and experience. Classes with Jazz are open level classes so they are suitable for everyone, she also will be able to make any adaptations should you need them.
Jazz also offers 1-1 sessions and Yoga.
