WHY PRACTICE AERIAL?

We now offer 3 types of Aerial workshops:

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Hammock

Aerial Yin Yoga & Floating Sound Bath

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga takes traditional yoga poses and takes them off the ground using an aerial hammock. This takes your yoga practice to a whole new level, literally, bringing in new challenges, new ways to move and the best savasana experience ever. Going upside down is optional but you are always encouraged to try it once.

A few of the benefits include; spine decompressions, increased flexibility, increased mobility, strengthens bones and joints, increased blood flow especially to the brain, improves digestion, calms the mind, improves sleep, general full body tune up and workout, a fun way to explore yoga.

Aerial Hammock

Aerial hammock is a type of aerial acrobatics that combines the use of a suspended hammock and aerial fabric. The aerial hammock is used to perform a range of aerial moves such as spins, drops, and holds. It is a fun way to experience the thrill of aerial dance and acrobatics.

The benefits of aerial hammock are numerous. It is a great way to challenge the body in a new and exciting way, while having fun and building confidence. It can help improve posture, balance, and coordination, as well as increase strength and flexibility. Additionally, it is a great way to connect with your inner self, as the movements and poses require mindfulness and focus. Finally, aerial hammock is a great way to meet new people and make new friends!

Aerial Yin Yoga & Floating Sound Bath

Enjoy a 90 minute workshop designed to help you relax, release stress and worries from the body and take you into a gentle meditation floating meditation. You will be lead through an aerial yin yoga practice using the aerial hammocks to help you feel supported whilst exploring deep stretches opening up the body and mind. These stretches are held for 3-5 minutes and will mostly involve being half of the floor and half in the hammock. You will then get comfy in the hammocks ready for a floating sound bath using crystal singing bowls, gongs, rain sticks and chimes.

Sound baths are designed to help you relax, destress and potentially drift into sleep. The healing vibrations can help you get better sleep, decrease anxiety, decrease depression, enhance mental clarity and improve focus, encourage emotional release.
